I live there. You got unlucky with the rain. Edinburgh famously has less annual rainfall than Rome.

Hello!

You're Irish and you're in Dalian! Gosh, nice to hear from you. Yep, sounds like you met the gang. I'm in second year and they're in third year so I don't know them that well, but were they called things like Rachel, Alana and Geoff?

Are you in Dalian for a year, or more? And - um - are you actually from Cork? I live near Wexford myself. I'm flying home tomorrow! Whoohoo! Not that I don't aDORE Edinburgh. It's always nice to go home for a bit though.

Teaching English with a Cork accent is a genius idea. Ha ha! Maybe it makes up for lost tones. I mean, Corkonian DEFINITELY has tones.
