ooooh this is adorable!

I think John's misunderstanding is so very IC. even in canon he seems to have a kind of inferiority complex, the whole 'nothing every happens to me,' attitude. so I found it very plausible that he would second guess Sherlock's advances or take his words the wrong way.

and their feelings for each other are portrayed so wonderfully. I particularly loved this line: Those conclusions had appeared to be true until John came along and disproved them all..
It just gives me all kind of warm fuzzies.
