As mentioned, I thought it was a great start to your fic. Buffy's feelings were very well conveyed, especially in the way you described the kiss between her and Giles. Liked that a lot!

Thanks! I'm really glad you enjoyed it. This is my first Buffy fic! Although this is a standalone story, I wasn't intending on writing a second part.

Oh! Haha, yeah, maybe if my brains weren't total mush tonight I would have noticed that the fic status was 'complete'. Don't mind me... :P

No worries, though. Wouldn't say no to a continuation, but it works just fine on its own!

Yeah, it's sort of a "fade to black" ending. I haven't done a bedroom scene before...at least not one that made it to the internet! :P

Thanks! I'm doing a Buffy rewatch and I'm in season 6, and all the stuff with Spike was getting to me. It would have been much healthier for Buffy if things had turned out like this!

Aww, I loved this fic. Even though I love B/G I also lve Season Six [odd, I know] so this fic had all the right lements for me. I loved everything From Giles knowing something wasn't right with Buffy to his reaction and they way their kiss made Buffy feel complete. Everything was pitch perfect.
