is there necessarily anything wrong with giving yourself a refresher or lightening your load? I'll speak for myself when i say my outlook on life has changed due to far more trivial times/things than the changing of a calendar year.

I understand how ridiculous it seems that people all of a sudden at the changing of a digit in the year decide to suddenly start giving a shit, even if it will only last the first quarter of the year, but i think any catalyst to make a change for the better in your life is a good catalyst.

my fatal flaw = optimism. haha.
