it has been confirmed that it is "We're the survivors of the Oceanic Flight" not "There were no..." by those who would know, like the writers and the producers.

It did originally say "There were no survivors" but I just read that they changed it. I hate the writers. A gerbil could write better if it had a pencil stuck up it's lower extremities!

That's an interesting theory and the only thing that really doesnt work with it is that Boone actually heard something different. I agree very much that it sounded just like him.

I think the whole thing may be a test to find out who the person guilty for bombing the true Oceanic Flight really is. Every survivor on the island wasn't really on the plane when it crashed. They're all suspects. - but why are they suspects? Sure they may be possibly guilty of a murder but why them?

The whole thing about them being suspects worked only if it was a test to find out who bombed the plane. They all still have to be convicts or guilty of something and this whole situation is a prison. They all seem responsible for a death. Someone said at the IMDB that they knew for a fact that it was a cryochamber. I don't know anymore. I don't care.

Interesting. But maybe the voice Boone heard was his own saying "We are the survivors......" only it was like in an alternate reality. Maybe he heard BizzaroBoone:) But seriously, maybe it was an alternate realitly thing....
