Oh my goodness,to be honest I was beginning to think of you as one of those impatient readers who don't understand how hard it is to put emotion into words sometimes but this comment totally redeemed you! Thank you, thank you :)

My foreshadowing is always pretty subtle but everything is mentioned for a reason, especially if it's said more than once. Drunk driving was supposed to be more of a past thing yes, but once Jack left, and Alex met Eric, who reminded him of Jack, it kind of made him revert to old ways? It is really complex so I try my best to construct it as thoroughly as possible. I went through a lot of drafts of his drinking scenes so that's why it took me so long for such a short piece.

Your comment made me smile so widely! I love love long comments with tons of feels. And I totally cried while proofreading this, no shame. Thanks for understanding about school, I wish you all the best with it yourself :)

I love this story so much I'm always looking forward for updates :) i really like how you put in Heores lyrics while describing Alex, very clever. I feel so bad for Alex and do hope he's alright! Jack to the rescue maybe? :P Anyway, overall I really like the maturity and detail in your writing. It's different and paints a perfect picture. It makes you think. I just really love this okay.

Thank you so much for waiting for my super long updates? Haha. Oh, I've been waiting for the right moment for the Heroes references; definitely my favourite song off of DW! Alex will be alright! But Jack left for a reason, and there are some things Alex has to do by himself you know? I actually had to cut back on the detail in this one, so its good to know it's appreciated nonetheless. Plus ...I kinda cried while writing it. I wasn't in the best place when trying to get through this chapter, but I think the fact I was able to turn such negative feelings into a form of art others appreciate makes it worthwhile? I'm okay now though, thanks for the concern. Just a rough patch of too much responsibility and not enough sleep. Shit happens, but lovely comments like yours help :)
