I was/am a very avid reader and would always picture the stories in my head. After finishing a book I always come up with little what-if scenarios and eventually took to writing them down. Recently I have started writing fanfiction and last year I participated in NaNoWriMo. I have always loved writing and found out the most creative time for my brain is between around 1 and 5am. I discovered this while taking a creative writing class and found the later I stayed up the better connected my ideas became and just ran with it.

Does anyone else have a specific time where they feel the most productive/creative?

Nice! My most creative/productive writing period would have to also be early mornings. I usually get up around 9AM.. but the earlier the better for me.. When I used to be a night owl.. my most creative time was 4AM - 8AM.. a nice little 4 hour period.

Now.. It's usually 8-11PM.. there's something about the morning that does it.. I don't know what it is.. maybe the promise of a new day and massive energy rush I get from sitting in the sun.. ;)

I have been writing forever. I remember my early stories. I just love putting words to paper.

I have come to a complete dead end when it comes to creativity. So I rely on my journaling to keep my going. It feels good to write my life down. To record it for anyone who may care. Heaven knows it is nothing incredible, but it's important to me. I'm so thankful I found embodiment because it jump-started my journaling.

To have a record of things, I wish I'd started sooner.

I write for the past.
I wrote for the future.

I like doing journaling because I enjoy looking back and seeing how far I've come. I've been writing in my personal journal for over two years now although I used to all the time when I was a kid.

That and I secretly hope one day in the far off future people will stumble upon it or it will some how get passed on like those journals you read in the olden days in history classes.
