Awhile ago, I checked out the Confetti Cakes book from the library with a burning ambition.
I set out to make cupcakes that were supposed to look something like this:
With the critically important help of goodbush, I wound up making some Christmas-themed cupcakes that looked something like this instead:
Not bad, but sheesh were they a lot of work! I think I'll stick to cooking soup, bread, and other things whose taste is valued above and beyond presentation.
