Gardening!

Planting planting planting and planting some more. We're about 3/4 of the way through planting our garden. The first half is coming up nicely, we already have garlic and onion sprouts, chamomile, and basil. Still waiting for the carrots, sage, and chives to come up. How are you making your yogurt? Send me the recipe if it works out!

And, yay for gardens! I was in Oly this weekend, but Brian (!) cleared out the flower beds in front. Being at LindaLee's definitely made me excited to start some little things in our backyard, even though I'll be gone this summer. :(

She sent me back with marjoram and strawberries, either for our place, or the raised beds at my new school. :)

Can't wait till March 21!

I've been enjoying your string of rather "domestic" posts -- cooking, walks, gardens, greywater! It's a lovely little window into the bits of life people often don't mention much, since they seem so prosaic, but the beauty beneath the ordinary makes life shine if you can see it.

These "domestic" things are the only things I seem to be doing anymore and they keep me sane while I frantically apply for jobs. Sheesh. Plus it's what kept me sane while working last year. Glad you're enjoying it!
