Tumbleweed Tiny Houses

I've thought that these tiny houses were very cool for awhile. The man who stated the company gives you a tour of his tiny house. It's great to be able to see what one actually looks like inside.

Totally cool! But I'm a little too clausterphobic for the triangle roof....

I've been a huge fan of tumbleweed houses for a while now. This video is really cool! I can't hear the sound on the library computers, but seeing the house in video is really neat. That guy lives in Iowa City, an hour from my parent's house -- sometimes I dream of moving back there for a while and doing an apprenticeship with him! I love how the fact that the house is on a trailer gets around minimum-house-size codes. Right now my house in Salt Lake is struggling with a city ordinance that says no more than 3 unrelated people can live in one unit, and we have 14 people in two units! Stupid classist ordinances...

This is hilarious to me, because I just posted on Lena's journal about how much I love these.

Clearly we all need Tumbleweed houses.

goodbush says let's do it. She really would like to spend a summer building a tiny house. And if you want to help paint ...

Although they did make one shaped like a vardo. Except it wasn't really big enough to live in - just big enough for an office because it couldn't be two stories.

On another subject, I have a friend's only journal under the name Kukusamaki, its where I'm posting now so you might want to friend it and put it on your friend's page. Or something
