So the one good thing I can think about from this whole Prop 8 thing is that I suddenly know where I am and am not safe in my neighborhood. I walk through the neighborhood and could identify by the signs in the windows or on the front yard whether I would want to live next to these folks. Great when choosing a new place to live. Great still that

We've been looking at buying a house, and that reminds me of how I felt when we would be looking in neighborhoods with a lot of John McCain signs- I didn't feel comfortable with the idea of having those people as neighbors. I am sure all the Proposition 8 signs are much, much worse. How long ago did you move? I hope that you are in a better place now, where you do feel safe and welcome!
