Pendant Finished and...

Tomorrow I leave for a week long trip (yay!), and I wanted to have my new pendant ready. I didn't think it looked smooth enough (the back has a couple imperfections), but Julia assured me they weren't noticeable.

So I put on the bale and wore it for the first time yesterday:

Totally gorgeous. My congratulations to all the artists involved!

(I'm a weenie for some stones. If it was possible to do a thin transluscent backing, layered, of either carnelian/onyx, water opal/onyx, or fire opal/white agate, I'd love it. And the tattoo idea has me thinkin'. Hell, I'd love your AI logo design on my body somewhere, but until cash stops being tight ink and jewelry take a lower priority. :))

The stone colors sound lovely, but I'm not sure how to attach it. I think it would need to be done in much more expensive sterling silver, etc for that. This is laser cut steel... That would be so cool, the AI logo on your body... Cash, sigh, oh to be rich...

A very, very cool design. Going for a similar effect on my arms that is now half done. Still toying with a 'heart scarab' motif on my chest but it'd be a while before I have the clams for that.
