Just commenting on this to let you know that your feelings about Klaine are basically my feelings as well <3

I am glad there is a little bit of solidarity. I feel like people put Kurt on a pedestal (which I understand because people have seen what he has been through) but he is still human. Thanks for reading.

I am glad you enjoyed it. I was very worried that people would explode over my treatment of Kurt. I feel like a lot of people think that Kut can do no wrong. I don't condone cheating but I think it is a little more complicated then what was portrayed on the show. Mostly, I was disturbed by some of the reactions that I saw in reaction to the episode. Some people actually said that Blaine was bad for Kurt's confidence (which I believe is the exact opposite) and that Blaine had to make up for Kurt waiting on him. In my oppinion, Blaine has had the same amount of bullying (maybe more physical in regard to the Sadie Hawkins allusion) but definitely lacked the support at home but the audience hasn't seen it so it is easier to disregard. Sorry for long rant but I am glad there are some people out there that agree with me. Thanks for reading!

You basically took pretty much everything I think about Klaine (and a lot of their fans) and wrote it out! I can't actually see this story happen in canon (even if 4x04 hadn't happened) mostly because I don't think Blaine has enough self-esteem to even articulate any of this, and Kurt is far too defensive to take criticism without making it a fight, but it's still nice to read. ...And now I'm just being sad that in canon Kurt will probably never have to take responsibility for being a terrible boyfriend at times.

I don't think that it will happen in cannon because Blaine would have to actually have some agency and the writers would have to take Kurt down from his pedestal and make him more human. Oh well. Thanks for reading!

I totally agree with everything you have said. I think my main problem with the show lays within Blaine having no actual agency. He has been a lifeline for Kurt and an extension of Kurt but nothing else. I am more concerned with how done of the fandom rationalize Kurt's negligence. I read one post that said that Kurt was right to ignore Blaine because his internship (which I find very unbelievable for may reasons) was more important then whatever Blaine is doing in high school. I find that this is a fault in the writin because, as someone who has done a long distance relationship before, you cannot qualify the importance of one's current position in life over the other person. It creates inequality in a relationship and that is never good. I feel like the writers cultivated Kurt into perpetrating that his internship is more important than whatever is happening in Blaine's life and some of the fandom think that it is ok. I wish they took more time to develope the story of missed or dismissed calls and Blaine's rash decision ( ... )
