schapelle corby got 20 years. which i suppose is better than life, but i don't know how she'll cope in there :( poor girl. i might send her a care package - any ideas of what to send?

I feel very bad for her. I think 20 years IS better than life but I don't know how she'll cope either. I swear I could feel her pain when I was watching it.

her lawyers will still appeal though won't they? and can't she do less time with good behaviour? honestly I think she was lucky not to get life...not that she deserves it, but the legal system over ther is screwed.

Yes I think they will still appeal.. I heard that Oz might be fighting to see if they can bring her back here to do her jail time, but who knows. She was lucky to get life over the death penalty thats forsure.. I couldnt imagine what she must be going through.

i feel so sorry for her. at first i was really pissed off and then i was like 20 years is not that long but then i was thinking i will be 44 when she gets out and that is a long time really!!

i have no idea what to send. i saw pictures of her holding cell and she has a lot of stuff but who knows what they will let her take and have when she is in jail?
