i found out about the livestrong program,and was able to donate 10 dollars,and get some wrist bands to be sent out,and spread the word,but i was also wondering what size these wrist bands are.silly question,but how big is the diameter just about?

From the LAF store: Adults size- 202mil circumference x 12mil width x 1.95mil thickness. 100% Synthetic Silicone rubber. If my math is correct, that puts them at just under 8 inches around.

i took the icon and gave credit in my livejournal. i also put the links in my user info...i've read armstrong's two books, he's such an inspiration to me especially since a friend of mine went into remission from Stage 4 Hodgkin's Disease less then a year ago.

Hey - I just wanted to say that I think this is a GREAT community. I put the banner in my profile, but I made a few changes, merely because the yellow was so bright it was barely visible. The format I used was the following:
