Okay, my tickets for Swancon 2009 are bought and my accommodation is booked so I guess you can all count on me to be there.

Now I just have to think of a costume for the Masquerade... Any ideas?

(The director of our HK office said I'm the geekiest person he knows. I said thanks.)

Oh yes! I thought that was more general and not specific to next year? Still, I'm more than willing! (And I don't know the theme either...)

Isn't Cam doing Destiny? He's got the height for it. Can't see him shaving the front of his head for Destruction - even if canonically there's a good excuse to not have him in the group.

Who am I doing? It better not be Despair. I'm not wearing rats for anybody.

alias_sqbr and I were just discussing that. We kinda figured we'd let you take first pick / nominate people since you're the most experienced at costuming. (Everyone's up for grabs except alias_sqbr who is already working on a Delirum outfit.)

I hardly think I'm the most experienced in costuming. I think I'm the most experienced at copping out in costuming - I get other people to do costumes for me.

We-ll. I do have the tailcoat, wig and tophat that would do a Death. But you could do Death just as easily. Not sure if the coat would fit you though; don't you have broader shoulders than I?

Do you know anyone androgynous enough to do Desire?

That's more of a question. Desire was always going to be that hardest to do (with the possible exception of Despair) but I think we're better off getting a guy for the role than a girl since we're all reasonably buxom. :P Of course, we could always do a female version.

I do have a tail coat, but I'm not sure it fits anymore. I could certainly rent one from a formal wear store if neither of them fit!

As a side note on Despair I was going to suggest we try for the previous despair rather than the current one - I don't think anyone's up for wandering around naked!
