Oh, dear, I cried and cried and CRIED when I saw Third Star. It was good, wasn't it? But, oh, oh, oh, so SAD.
I loved Benedict in it (I loved everyone in it). Such an un-Sherlock character! My preference is always actors who don't always do the same thing, and oh he has got it.
Thank you! I didn't cry the first time but I think that's because I was expecting a sad ending and because I was drawing Sherlock wearing John's shirt to distract myself XD
*shrug* dunno. It didn't look a thing like him for the longest time but I kept at it :) I wanted it to look like one of his friends had maybe doodled it :)
You have an artist's eye for his face. I appreciate how one tiny perceived "correction" in the unusual shape of his features could throw off the genuine accuracy of the piece and as an artist is sometimes is hard to actually allow unusualness to remain as it is ;)
It is what gives him such beauty, but recognizing this and allowing it to remain is in itself a true gift.
Wow, thank you! Funny thing is, there was something that didn't look right, and it took me the longest time to realize I'd corrected his cupid's bow; it wasn't deep enough, but I kept thinking "no way, that can't be like that.." but when I looked, it really was. I think you're right and I think that's why I love drawing him so much.
