I love your answers. Yes to everything you say about Jo. She's been fleshed out into an incredible character and it's sad that fandom likes her more now that she's dead. Hey, I ship Pamela/Dean as well - well I ship everyone under the sun with Dean but Pamela and Dean kissing was a little moment of hotness in Dark Side of the Moon.
I hear you about Swan Song. Mostly my disappointment with it is how it came out of nowhere. i can't, for the life of me, find any rational reason for Sam saying yes. It was presented as the best plan ever, but it was set up so badly. I have other quibbles with Swan Song, but I won't annoy you with them as I'm mostly happy with not thinking about it.
:D Yay, fellow Pamela/Dean shipper! Did they really kiss in Dark Side of the Moon? I didn't even remember that! I'm a bad shipper. I ought to rewatch. Yeah, basically Sam saying yes in Swan Song happened because it had to happen, even though they hadn't written anything that led up to it properly. You know, after I posted, I was trying to come up with a fanwank for it--like, it was unexpected *because* there was no twist and Sam just made the decision to do it, so he was sort of choosing to walk into his destiny with open eyes. But I didn't really convince myself.
