Room 322, Thursday Evening

Oct 22, 2009 20:03

With most of her classes done for the week, Didi was curled up on her bed with some Halloween candy and her knitting project, as They Might Be Giants played on her stereo.

The maroon-and-grey thing she was knitting was a scarf. Definitely a scarf.

It might just turn out to be a scarf with thumbs.

[OOC: Open room post, yep!]

Scarves with thumbs were useful for those who had mouths in their hands, perhaps? What was sad was that Jonothon had met someone with that particular affliction before.

But that was neither here nor there, was it? Jono was feeling more or less social tonight, and he hadn't seen Didi in a while, and, well... There was a dance coming up. And so on.

And such.

He was knocking on her door, yes. Because standing outside of it and fidgeting like an absolute plonker wasn't accomplishing anything.

"Enter," Didi called, not shifting off her bed.

There was important yarn-changing to be done.

//Well,// Jono noted, his voice projecting crisp and clear even before he'd gotten the door open, //how can I possibly turn down a response like that?//

The door, it was opening! And Jono was indeed entering.

//Evening, luv.//

"Evening," Didi said, flashing her Jono-smile. The one that went with a sudden, quick jump of her heart in her chest.

The knitting got set aside and she gestured for him to join her. "So what brings you to my fascinating abode of, uh, knitting and goldfish?"
