Each writer is born with a repertory company in his head. Shakespeare has perhaps 20 players, and Tennessee Williams has about 5, and Samuel Beckett one - and maybe a clone of that one. I have 10 or so, and that's a lot. As you get older, you become more skillful at casting them ( Read more... )

I love your characters' names. What do the ones beside them mean? I might have to figure out how many "players" I have runnin around my own head.

Thank you kindly, ma'am. The names beside them are the other characters I have that I can say stem from the base character that is bolded. Like, Brandon is a version of Drew sorta, if I had to boil things down the way Gore is talking about.
