Went to a Christmas party full of middle-aged people tonight, and (as I probably should've predicted) it was goddamn sad. I mean, is that what it means to be an adult... that you spend all night talking about your dogs and your kids, and the history of your house, and how you really ought to get going because you usually go to bed before 10? Fuck

Old people are pretty boring, yeah. Parties full of young professionals are in general better, but can turn into some bad shit quickly if you're not careful.
