The Big 4-0
Woke up this morning and found I was 40. The only benefit so far is that I treated myself to a shiny new iPod touch as I seem to be of an age where people don't buy you presents anymore and I really needed a new MP3 player. Summer Horror Day came to mind a few weeks ago when I caught the 1978 movie The Alien Factor on late night cable (I'd never seen it before). Just reminded me of your own work, bringing back good memories. Great home-made monster costumes in The Alien Factor coupled with friends houses obviously utilized as sets.
1981 and I was programming the ZX-81. Yeeshh.

Yes, still marooned in Camberley.
I don't do Facebook. I ought to check it out (I just did - your link is broken). But when I logged into LJ a few minutes ago, after months of absence, it looked like a ghost town (queue The Specials), tumbleweed blowing through and all. So perhaps I'll have to move if I want to keep up on what people I once knew do with themselves these days.
