I woke up with a scratchy throat yesterday that I ignored and today I wake up with a runny noise headache and very sore throat.  Bahh!!

I am having my mommy (she's 79), come over tonight to watch my penguin movies with me and Jim.  Linsey is going out with Jared tonight, he's playing a gig at BoJangles.  He plays keyboard with a band as a hobby.

Hes in the Air Force and they were shipped there just 4 days after Hurricane Katrina. We have exchanged e mails and I saw him once on a webcam, but today was the first time I heard his voice since the day before the hurricane when he called to make sure I was at my mom's house instead of in my mobile home.

BTW, I read that article on your post about Brokeback Mountain, I nearly got sick!

Thank you Donna, I just took an hour and half nap and now the coughing starts!!

Thank goodness I have until Tuesday before I go to work, or I may not go until Wedsnday.

I count in my blessings my lj friends especially you, I always enjoy your posts, so rich and full of life and descriptions.
