Reading the first paragraph I would say you leave all the mechanical stuff up to Jim. Right? :)

When Tommy and I go to Wilmington without Melissa is so enjoyable just the two of us talking.

Having an empty nest can be like being newly married with kids except y'all have a wonderful past that has already cemented your relationship. A wonderful past including the bad times that you got through together.

If you take a notion make a post telling in details what going to college is like. I'd be interested in reading it.

Times like you had with Jim are really great! Hope you have a lot more of them.

My night class starts next Tuesday night from 6-830 so he will get off work early and drive me. He'll sit in the car while I'm inside and then we'll drive home. And at least every 2 weeks we'll just HAVE to stop by Barnes and Noble. That is one of the greatest things we have in common other than our faith, is our love of books and reading. He likes to read nonfiction and biography while I read mostly fiction.

But we never argue about spending money on books!!

Ever since we´ve have adult daughters Manolo and I talk more than ever. You don´t have to worry so much about what´s happening with the kids (you do in a different way but you know what I mean). Suddenly, you have more time to pay attention to each other again.

It´s kinda cool.

I hope it continues for you!
