An alternative to declawing a cat..

I don't have a cat but this is kind of cool. Instead of declawing your cat or letting him/her tear up your furniture and walls, you can put these little things on their nails called soft paws. I personally don't have anything against declawing. I worked for a vet in high school and assisted him with surgery while he declawed. All he would do was cut the nails below a certain point and they wouldn't grow back. I would have this done with my toenails if it was possible, one less thing to deal with. The cats didn't seem to be in any pain after the operation, they just didn't like the bandages wrapped around their feet. They would sit in their cages and shake their feet around trying to get the bandages off. When I had a cat I had to have it declawed because I have a parrot and one swipe of a cat with claws could kill an African Grey or blind it if it scratches it's eyes. I once had a cat that climbed on top of my parrot's bird cage and swatted at the poor bird but luckily the cat was declawed.

The declawing never affected my cat's personality. My maine coon actually still thought he had claws and he would paw the side of the couch all the time. He didn't seem to give a crap. I never let him outside though, he was an indoor cat. Hopefully no one will hate me for my view of declawing.

I let it expire. I don't make dolls anymore. I make glass beads now. I may make a doll in the future if I get the desire but I don't want to try and make a business out of it. I see someone is trying to sell it for a profit, how rude.
