Today I was at a gathering for women at CMU, and there was a girl there who had obviously spent hours making her hair look incredible. She was kind of very tall and very shy. I sent a lot of warm smiles her way through the meeting. We had to kind of talk for a moment about ourselves and the girl had the strangest voice. She sounded infinitely timid ( Read more... )

go visit washington d.c.! i don't think it'll be *hot* in mid-march, but it certainly won't be snowy either.

I am biased because I live here, but I love Colorado and the mountain states so much. There is much to do here and the rocky mountains are breathtaking! Truely a gift from God

Budget's a major factor here, and so is transportation.

Do you plan to drive (as opposed to flying)?

Are you on a tight budget?

For a short trip you could go to Philadelphia, which is a great city with lots of history, or Baltimore Maryland, or Washington DC.

Williamsburg, Virginia!

Though I'm biased b/c I live here, there are plenty of historic sites to visit (and fun things to do). And Virginia Beach is close, though it would be WAY too cold in March to do that.

Depending on your budget, though, you may want to stay in PA.

Or if you really want warm, try Florida (though I'm not sure it would be hot in march, at least it would be warmer than most other places you'd go).

I also agree with the above comments- DC, Baltimore, Philly are all great places to visit too!
