Yesterday I finally received the check for my calligraphy! Yeah, well, a little bit late, but I got it none the less! And that's a money you want to have fun with! (honestly it wasn't all that much to begin with, but oh well). I'm thinking to buy a good watercolor set with it ( Read more... )

find a school in california. california has the best weather, hands down. some places get too much heat but the SF Bay area is great.

...then again, California also has wildfires, earthquakes and landslides. :P

well, earthquakes happen so rarely and aren't all that bad. the ground just shakes. fires only threaten the wealthy people with homes in the mountains. landslides also only affect the wealthy people with homes alongside beaches. i feel like we have the coolest and least threatening (at least for me since i'm a student with no house in my name) natural disasters. i mean, hurricanes and tornados and floods sound scary. :D

Well, in the DC area we really don't get any of that - we just have really humid summers.
(On the other hand, we actually have SEASONS on the east coast. ;))

To make cooking a little easier, if you've put x cup of rice then add x cup of water plus 1.25 or 1.5 extra cup of water to it. It takes about 20-30 minute to prepare with middle heat and closed pot door. Just you should slowly mix them one or to times in its first 10 minutes. Enjoy it!
