Script Frenzy...

 Ever heard of it?
I did NaNoWriMo last year (which was a stupid idea, by the way. If you find out that it exists mid way through the month, don't go ahead and try to do it anyway!). Since Nano and Script Frenzy are run by the same people, it's almost impossible to only know about one.
Anyway. Since assessments for the term are OVER, (Thank freakin' GOD!) I thought I might as well sign up. So I just did.

Why don't I ever, ever think things through?

First of all - I have an English speech tomorrow. I have gone through it once. So why am I writing an LJ post and signing up for a writing comp? Because I suck at planning and anything related to work.

Second - Maybe I should have thought up some ideas first, before blindly signing up and deciding tomorrow to just wing it (because that's what I did last year and it turned out so well!)

Thirdly, and probably the most important - I have two camps this holidays. Grand total of nine days spent out in the wilderness with no showers, toilets or food that doesn't come straight from a can/dehydrated. Don't get me wrong, I love camping, I love my cadet unit (my first camp) and I love doing Duke of Edinburgh (the second one). It's just that, I have two weeks of holiday, and only five of those days will I be with writing utensils and time to write. And I won't have all of those 5 days because I'll be preparing lesson plans for my cadets, and packing, and freaking out because I can't find my compass, and reassuring Sarbear that I will, in fact, finally get around to finishing the second season of Fringe, and... you get my drift.

I'm screwed. Royally screwed.
Good work me.
Now, for a late night rehearsing my English speech (which I'm gonna faint doing, considering how much I love public speaking), trying to think up ideas for a screenplay/graphic novel/TV show etc, that don't suck, and doing my chemistry homework which I only just remembered that I had.

Ah, the peaceful life...

Oh, and before I forget, I'm going to be doing some MAJOR restructuring of my DayZero list, because I realised there is a whole bunch of stuff on my list that's just filler, that can be replaced with a whole bunch of stuff I actually want to do. Wouldn't that be great, huh?

planning is important, isn't my life just peaches and cream, royally screwed, camping!, dayzero, does anyone even read this anyway?, script frenzy, procrastination, day zero
