IMMA HAPPY 18 YEAR OLD! :D
Where do I even start. :D Today has been one heck of a great day and so I owe it to all my awesome friends who made this day so wonderful, to make this post a thorough one. CLICK ON THE CUT FOR THE AWESOMEST SURPRISE OF ALL TIME.
So this morning, I had several well-wishes and skyped with my aussie cousins then I went for lunch at Aston's with my family. It was a very ordinary day. Then around 5plus I left my home to go meet rachel and tiffy. However tiffy was late so I just met rach at serangoon mrt and OMG she was carrying shitloads of presents, even those for paolo and sherrie. And i was like "huhhhh how you gonna pass to them?" since sherrie wasnt meeting us and paolo was in army. So she said smth bout her church friend meeting her in town and he was paolo's neighbour so he cld pass the presents to him and she was gonna pass sherrie her gift on the way home. So okay, Rach and I then walked around 313 at somerset and then headed towards city hall where we were supposed to walk to Timbre. But then she was v unsure of the way so she kept calling her church friend to direct us.
When we finally reached Timbre, rachel just walked right in without even telling the staff that we had alr reserved a table and i was like "ommg rach what are you doing?" and she headed toward some random table where there were already two people and suddenly these 2 jokers stopped covering their faces with the menus and shouted "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" and i was so stunned and so blur cos i couldnt see their faces properly in the whole poorly lit setting but finally i realised that those two insanely-laughing maniacs were Sherrie and Shalini. HAHAHA OMGGGG I WAS FREAKING SURPRISED. esp since shal was supposedly in malaysia! And rachel had been calling them all these while and pretending that it was her church friend.
After awhile, tiffy dear came and we were just bout to order food and someone suddenly grabbed me from the back and said "Walao birthday, bo jio!" I was damn shocked and turned around omggggg SABRINA KWANG who was supposed to be on the flight back from bkk was like standing right infront of me, I was really damn shocked. :D
So yeah we ordered food and all and then dunno why, Shal was looking furtively behind me so i turned around to look but didnt see anyone but being suspicious, i turned arnd a few more times and then finally i saw someone who srsly nearly made me fall off my seat and I nearly died from shock and confusion. HAHAHA WALAOEH PAOLO ALVAREZ IF I HAD DIED OF HEART ATTACK JUST NOW IT WLD HAVE BEEN BECAUSE OF YOU OKAY. YES, PAOLO WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO BE IN ARMY WAS WALKING TOWARDS ME WITH THAT CLASSIC CHEEKY SMILE ON HIS FACE.
By this time, my heart damn weak alr haahah and I was even half expecting my whole family and the prime minister to show up too. So i asked paolo "Omg what time did you book out?" and his answer was srsly O M G "I'm not even in army." WHICH BLOODY HELL MEANS THAT FOR MORE THAN A MONTH, HE HAD PLANNED FOR THIS WHOLE THING, LIED ABOUT FAILING HIS NAPFA, PRETENDED THAT HE WAS FEELING BUMMED BOUT ENLISTING ON 21ST DEC, LIE THAT THE OFFICERS FORGOT TO UPDATE HIS NEW BOOKING IN DATE AND THAT HE MIGHT HAVE TO ENLIST ON 11TH DEC, POST MISLEADING COMMENTS ON FB AND LJ SAYING "BYE BYE HAIR", SMS ME THAT HE WAS AT THE FERRY TERMINAL WAITING TO GO TEKONG, PRETEND THAT HE WAS SNEAKING A CALL AT 12 MIDNIGHT TO WISH ME HAPPY BIRTHDAY COS IT WAS LIGHTS OUT TIME ALR, ETC ETC ETC. OMG PAOLO ALVAREZ YOU CAN WIN THE OSCARS. FREAKING PSYCHOPATH LEH! HAHAHAHAHA.
Which also means for the past month, the whole gang, including dionne and jillian have also been pretending and playing along that paolo was in army all. Hahahaha all these feels so surreal omggggg.
So right now, I feel like the most special and blessed person alive, and I'm truly grateful to God for all you wonderful friends. THANK YOU SO MUCH PAOLO, RACHEL, TIFFANY, SABRINA, SHALINI AND SHERRIE. Today has truly been one unforgettable experience, my 18 would have been nothing without you guys! I LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH! <3 So here's a picture of the totally skilled party planners!!

It would have been even greater if Jillian wasnt in HK and Dionne wasnt flying off today. But nontheless, thank you Dionne for trying to make time for me despite your crazy school schedule, i know how much you tried!! <3 And thank you Jillian for reminding Joseph (who btw nearly ruined the surprise long ago in its earliest stages ahahahaha) to wish me and for smsing me all the way from HK.<3 And also not forgetting Belle who's sick, I know you wanted to come too and to Swen who smsed me all the way from Jakarta and told me how much she wanted to be here with us today. I love you both very much too!!! :D
So yes today was awesome and yesterday half the class celebrated steph and my birthday too, yayy steph's turning 18 soon tooooo!!!
