You have two options.

1) Don't get an ipod
2) convert your files to .mp3

go to this site (http://www.dbpoweramp.com/dmc.htm) and download dbpoweramp music converter, it will let you change all your other files to mp3s. It's not really because of some privacy protection thing, it's because ipods are teh ghey about playing wma's...

I didn't get an ipod though...i ended up getting a Creative Nomad....same thing, $100 cheaper.

yeah it can....Tam helped me, I guess i had my computer set so it would include the privacy protection. So I unchecked that box, and now have to dl all my music again for it to work....yes i know....I'm a noob...:)
