I have no choice in this matter; I've paid LiveJournal money not to display adverts, but they have revised the deal they offer so that they have the right to do so anyway. I also have no control over the adverts; I can't even see them

Bear in mind that if you are a paid user, your own agreement is still with Livejournal LLC which is a US based company.

So I guess that means both governments get to snoop on anything they like :)
