276 aka 9months and 2 days

Mar 10, 2014 08:57

I've been a woman on the verge of a nervous breakdown for the past few days--since Thursday I think.  This morning I woke up with bloosy thighs.  "oooh! that expalins it" said I . I remember Sonya's comment of years ago "you are the only woan I know who is constantly surprised by your period."  well, yeah, when the damn thing is 5 days early.  Oh ( Read more... )

Do tell! What was dream-me up to this time?

I'm glad you were only on the verge and didn't cross the breakdown line. I don't know if my period could surprise me at this point. Three days early? Two weeks early? 6 days late? 4 days or 7 days or 14 days long? Yep. Any and all of that. I think my body is playing ovulation roulette, trying to trick me or surprise me w/ a Last Chance pregnancy. I keep telling my reproductive organs I'm not using them for reproduction, they can relax already, but they don't listen.

I miss LJ too. The two websites I visit are LJ and FB. It's so quite here most days.

How is the job? How is the rest of everything (you know, when you aren't confused by hormones)?

I liek the job--I find the coporate practice of constant bitching and moaning a bit depressing, but the job and the res tof everythign is going quite well when I am not in the throughs of un noticed PMS :)

Hey, I'm always surprised as well. You are not alone.

Do you have time to get back into this? A couple of new friends are good about posting whenever there's new friending memes kicking around. It's helped a bit. My problem is figuring out what to write here. I'm recording travel stuff in the other place...so what belongs here?

Oh, I know I can...but I've found that I have a hard time bothering if I don't feel like anyone is reading.

Yay! [that you made it w/out drinking.] I've thought about you & hoped you were doing well, but didn't want to pry.

I was surprised by my period for most of a year until I started tracking it. It should come along today or tomorrow. But I lost a week in my cycle in the last few years. Because I wasn't tracking the actual date it started on (until beginning in Aug.), it could have been changing for 1-2 years & I was just always like, "huh. That's early...."

I miss us sometimes (I don't miss constantly being buzzed & weeping uncontrollably about no marriage/no kids, so that's a good thing).

Sorry I'm not cheery. I'm in a mood. If you want to see me bitching for the next couple of weeks just hang out while I write about House Opening.

I pu t it on the calendar--the period. IT still comes three days early. and Justin said "I knew it was coming--you should ask me" But I was really at a point that the only thing I wanted to say was "I want to DIEEEEE." but I try not to say that out loud if I'm not going to do anythign about it!

Ah - it took me 4 months to think about trying to track it (man, I didn't even do that when I was 11) so I figured I'd suggest. For half a year, over 20 years ago, I craved chocolate. That was a nice way to figure out what was coming up. I never feel horrible, but thinking everyone is stupid is a good way to figure out (but it's not consistent! Now I'm pissed!).

dumb body.

My periods are ridiculously predictable and have most of the same warning signs. Being sick and stressed throws me off, but other than that...

I've missed seeing your updates. I'm clinging tenaciously to lj.

I'll try to do better. I would like mine better if they were predictable--I try to make them that way but it doesn't really work...

I'm not sure why... mine just came this way. The other weird thing is that they frequently sync up with full moons for months at a time.

I miss it too. and you. I went back and read my early posts (circa 2003) on Saturday. So much has changed in myself and my life that I hardly recognized myself.
