Maybe you were a little crazy that night, but the history of abuse and being unable to move on in part because of the ways in which you were told you'd never be lovable... that just tied you to her all the harder, and made her shiny new happiness all the worse.

Once that last part comes in, like the ending to a joke, the towels and the paint and the anger take on a whole different meaning.

I'm hope you feel truly free of her one day.

A situation like that you do feel stuck as the punchline in the worst kind of joke.

I'm hoping you get free of those feelings someday.
