BEACH TRIPS, YAY. we were supposed to be going to france the week before you guys go to the beach but we can't go now (FAIL). instead, i'm going to have to amuse myself some other way.

IN OTHER NEWS. I LOVE DIGGING HOLES IN THE SAND. i approve of your life goals. (nick wants you to dig the biggest hole you ever dug, liz, and he needs you to sacrifice EVERYTHING to make it perfect. he does not accept excuses.)

AW, that is such FAIL. You should create a beach in a child's pool in your backyard.

Haha, I am such a failure at the beach. I'm rather afraid of big waves (I don't like feeling out of control in the water) so at Atlantic beaches I sort of wade and mostly play in the sand and DIG HOLES. Record depth: 9 years old, Ryan Frost and I dug a 6 foot deep hole and got stuck in it. I'LL MAKE YOU PROUD, NICK.

I was going to request that you post pictures of your hole, but there just wasn't a good way to phrase it. There just wasn't. So, WHATEVER HAVE FUN AT THE BEACH.

I was going to say I'd post pictures of my hole, but I didn't want to get reported to LJ Perv Watch or anything. (But shh, I'll totally post pictures of my hole IN THE SAND. Possibly of me and my friends inside it) AND I DON'T CARE HOW THE WORLD TAKES IT.

(SERIOUSLY. They're saying if they aren't able to stop it soon, and if cleanup efforts continue at the pace and funding level they're going at, the oil spill might make it that far soon. SO MUCH HORROR.)
