The Davenport Dudes are great. Although Luke and I had a bit of trouble with the biking situation which I really can't explain in a post and shouldn't. But Luke was really gracious as always and let me ride his lovely bike with excellent brakes and took the loud, difficult, brakeless bike and the bike lock and the backpack. So I had it very easy

Back early from camping because of reports of prolonged rain/icky weather (which we had already tasted Wed. night/Thurs. early AM. However, the weather hasn't been that bad since we've returned. Oh well...Silks, Stankos, and Cooleys left early too. Our LL Bean screen tent is great for keeping out sun and bugs but not good for all-out rain.
So, are we picking you up on Tues at 5? Let us know.
Glad that you're being active there -- biking, running...Say hello to the Lyndons, and the Davenports. Must get off and allow people to call us -- have been doing one thing or another online all morning. Catching up.

My love affair in MS was with a road -- the Natchez Trace -- most beautiful length of "highway" I've ever driven. And that's about it. Not to mention feasting on the sight of my lovely dancer daughter. Going TO her was about as good a feeling as coming home always is. Reminds me of trips to GCC and Charlottesville in that respect.
