actively rooting for violence to fall on people you disagree with politically?

Given the rhetoric emanating from the right, and the increasing acceptance it gets in the public sphere - I'm somewhat concerned that there will be more of that... and maybe eventually actual violence too.

In my experience, Facebook lends itself to no thought spouting off even more than lj or other blog spaces do.

Just had to stop by to say how much I love this post. It's a bit tangential, but do you ever visit PZ Myers' Pharyngula blog (and some of the other blogs too) on freethoughtblogs.com? Just, that there are a lot of folks there who would seem to be on a similar wavelength.

Anyway, I love this post.
