What strikes me is every iteration further seems to reflect discomfort with whatever tiny edge it originally had - changing and expanding Rudolph's role, making Applegate an at home mom, adding a traditional studio audience...When it is cancelled, I hope the final episode is in black and white with Arnette, Applegate and Rudolph doing Ricky, Lucy and Ethel.
