After nearly two years of Dad!Marcs serving as something of a medical mystery, as well as multiple hospital stays and multiple stays in rehab facilities, we finally got an actual diagnosis this week.

Multiple System Atrophy - Parkinsonian (MSA-p), aka, Parkinson's meaner, nastier, deadlier cousin. And unlike Parkinson's, it doesn't come on slowly

I'm so sorry to hear this. Believe me, I understand what it's like to hear dire news about your dad's health. "End-stage congestive heart failure" were not words I ever wanted to hear. We're dealing with it as best we can, but it's never easy. Take care of yourself and your family, and if you want to talk, I'm here.
