OOC: Backdated to Saturday 2 February, when Terence has his birthday. Preferably only open to Michiru and Laurian, though I suppose anyone is welcome to go to the infirmary.
At St. Catherine's, the tall, serious professor assistant was busy with getting ready to take Michiru back to her art school. It always took a while before the locair was ready to take off, and of course Michiru had to say goodbye to her former students and to Haruka...
While Laurian personally didn't like the elegant woman for various reasons - being elegant one of those - she was glad she'd come with the idea to take Michiru here. Her friend was rather distracted the whole week, but Laurian could feel that the tension had become a bit less. And that had been the main reason for bringing Michiru here, after all. To give them a chance to talk and for Haruka to say the things that had been bothering her for a while to someone she trusted. It only hurt a little that Haruka didn't trust her enough to tell something like this.
Laurian shook her head. She should really stop thinking such thoughts. Of course her friend trusted her, but they had another relationship, quite unlike what Haruka used to have with Michiru. No, stop it, she told
( ... )
A gasp escaped Michiru's lips as she turned and saw the scene that had put that note in Laurian's voice. She hurried to Laurian's side, making their way towards the battered Terrence, carrying the all too slumped form of his sister.
As soon as she reached the two siblings, Laurian took over Liz from Terence's arms. But the young man needed help either, and she had only one pair of arms. She quickly turned to Michiru to hand the girl over to her and was only just in time to catch Terence before he'd fall to the ground.
"Terence? Can you talk? Can you tell us what happened?"
For a moment, it seemed as if Terence was unable to answer. But then, in a hoarse whisper, he said, "Father... He came to me..." He stared blankly into space. "I think I killed him. He... he wouldn't stop. W-wouldn't stop... hurting Liz... I killed him."
Laurian said nothing, only raised an eyebrow at the confession. Then she looked over at Michiru. "I think we'd better get those two to the infirmary." After a moment's silence, she added, "And perhaps after that take a look at the scene."
OOC: I don't know about that either. ^^ Just somewhere.
I wonder how jealous Rei would be if she saw Laurian standing there with Terence in her arms, though... XD
Liz's unconscious and battered form distracted Michiru from fully hearing Terence's reply. She shook her head lightly, regaining her composure, nodding to Laurian.
"Let's take care of them first," Michiru answered, surprised at herself for entertaining the thought of perhaps leaving the father to bleed to death.
So intent on her thoughts that she didn't notice Haruka until she was right in front of her, her emerald eyes steel. 'He'll wish he had if Haruka gets to him,' she thought idly.
Haruka watched the emotions play out on Michiru's face, the subtle shiftings of those ocean-blue eyes telling volumes about the inner workings of her mind.
Michiru was fiercely protective of Liz; it was hard not to. She was a sweet, innocent girl that had one favor in nearly everyone's heart at St. Catherine's.
This man had threatened that, had nearly taken that life away. For the sake of two lives - and perhaps many more - should he die?
It took only a glance, anguished but honest. Haruka spoke softly, but her eyes were still locked unto Michiru's. "We understand."
The blonde finally turned, facing Laurian fully. "How do we do this?"
Laurian took her gun from its usual resting place. "One bullet through the head, one through the heart and then decapitate him," she explained quietly. "The last thing is to prevent he can be resurrected. After that we should probably take him to some deserted place and burn him. We'll need magical fire, though. If necessary, I can ask the Order to send some people to clean it up. That's how we always get rid of the slayed monsters."
The Slayer glanced down at the gun in her hand. "You two might want to leave the room. It will probably get messy."
Laurian watched the two other women leave with a strange mix of emotions. On one hand she was relieved they didn't linger. She'd have enough trouble explaining her own actions; she didn't want to involve them in this crime. Yet she also felt strangely deserted, alone, even terrified for what she was about to do and the consequences she would have to face later.
"God give me strength," she whispered to herself as she aimed the gun at Mr. Riley's head and fired the first bullet. Laurian waited until silence returned after the shot and turned him around. She aimed again, this time at his heart.
The echoes of the second shot faded. The Slayer put her gun away and drew her sword. This would be the hardest part... and the one causing most of the mess.
Several minutes later, Laurian walked over to where Haruka and Michiru were waiting. She'd taken off her coat, since that was covered with most of the blood, but she couldn't hide whatever had come on her trousers.

Silently, they exited the room, to deal with any passers by and waiting for the execution to occur.

"It's done."
