Visiting Cassarahsn3akydev1lJuly 16 2008, 02:14:00 UTC
If anything, Cass enjoyed the privacy of having no roommate. It meant more space for her, she could always make good use of. What passed as posessions to the witch, had been unpacked. A simple and easy process that took little time. So, she lay in her bed, her maroon bandana off her head and currently polishing the blade of her knife. She wanted to ensure that it remained nice and shiny.
A knocking drew her attention away from the task at hand and she stood to go answer the door. Opening it, she found the Seer, awaiting to greet her. She flashed a toothy grin to the brunette and with a few flips and twists of her wrist the butterfly kinds was closed and deposited in one of her pockets.

Liz watched curiously the movements of Cassarah as she closed the knife and put it in her pocket. But then the girl's eyes were drawn back to Cassarah's face. "Well... I thought I should come by to say hello," Liz started, a bit shyly. "I'm Liz Riley, a senior Seer once the new semester starts. Uhm... I brought you a little welcome gift, Miss Langley-Ray." She held out the gifts to Cassarah; the bag with cookies and some other candy and sweets.
"I stay in room 105, together with Katelyn. She told me she already met you. If there is ever anything you need to ask, you can always ask us."

The girl on the other side was a bit timid...but with the little bag of treats, she could have been Miss Introspective for all she cared. Not that personality traits ever bothered her much. Although some were more tactically adventagous than others. She removed a cookie and took a bite. Very tastey.
"Oh yeah!" she said, "She's a nice enough chick. Though, between you and me, she could use a bit more sense."
She flashed a quick smirk to show that her criticism was not meant to be negative...and more importantly, to not be taken very seriously. That was the last thing she wanted. Cass took a step back and gestured Liz to entire her room, taking another bite of the cookie as she did so.
"Mmm! Very good!" she declared holding what remained of the treat up in the air.

Liz blinked when Cassarah simply took a cookie out of the bag, but then smiled when the witch was obviously enjoying the cookie. "Oh, Katelyn really has a lot of sense, and she's very nice. She always knows what she's doing." Despite the quick smirk, Liz immediately jumped to the defense of her girlfriend. "And she's always very protective, and very good at fighting."
She moved into the room to look curiously around. There weren't many personal things in the room. Maybe Cassarah didn't have much personal things? "Where did you want me to put the bag, Miss Langley-Ray?"
It was about what she could have guessed. Personable, Nashira was not. A quiet chuckle resounded from the blonde. She strolled over to her bed and took a seat. "Yep, sounds like ya met her." she said, "And that sure is a fine collection she has, isn't it?"
She finished up the cookie she had plucked from the bag Liz had offered her and contemplated the girl's proposal. "Well, I can't think of anyplace here that I haven't scoped out allready. So what say we take a little trip into town." she paused for a moment, before continuing, "I don't suppose you know where I could get my hands on a good knife, would ya?"
Liz blushed at the question asked. "I... I don't normally fight..." She fidgeted a bit around. "But I could help you, I think. It shouldn't be too difficult... So... You want to go to town? We can also visit my brother, if you'd like that... You know, after you... you found a good knife."
The girl smiled at Cassarah. "He's really nice and well... I kinda promised I'd cook for him... You can stay for dinner then before we go back to school."
Of course...Liz didn't strike her as much of a fighter. She chuckled a bit and shook her head, returning Liz's smile with a sharp-cornered smirk, "Ya want me to meet your family so soon? Heh, I dunno...I'm not exactly the kinda girl the family likes ta meet." she chuckled some more and popped up to her feet, "Well, since you're cookin', hot-stuff, I suppose that'll be fine!"
She shot a grin in her direction, "Allright then, let's get a goin'!" she opened the door, not bothering to identify her little comments as the jokes they were. It was pretty obvious (in her mind) and besides, that would have just taken a little bit of the fun out of it all.
"Oh, it's, no... It's... It's just my brother," Liz hastily said. "I... I don't have any other family. And, well... if... if I still had... they wouldn't be here, but where I used to live..." She gave Cass another smile. "But yeah, uhm... yeah. Let's go."
She held the door open for Cass, polite as always. "The town isn't really far from school, it's I think fifteen minutes walking. Or something like that. It's only a bit difficult if it's winter and it has snowed. The streets can be really slippery in the winter."
