OOC: I'm lazy... supposed to be written somewhere on Saturday. =P But better late than never? Uh... at least first open to Daatu. After that, others can hop on to the thread as well, if they feel like it.A young man entered the campus grounds early that Saturday morning. He was not unfamiliar to most of the students; after all, he had lived among

Her eyes were wide as she stared up at him from her not so impressive height of 4'10" and was unable to answer him. She had no idea who Liz Riley was nor which direction to point the boy into.
"I-I... Uhm..." Was her oh so eloquent reply to the young man. Her heart hammered in her throat and she shoved her small hands into the pockets of the Lab coat she had been wearing about the campus over her uniform.

The girl seemed to be about Liz' age, though, and Terence liked it to get to know his sister's classmates. Thus he offered her his hand with a smile and added, "I'm Terence Riley, by the way. And you?"

"D-Daatu Lonehill..." She managed to stutter out, finally taking his hand and shaking it as a man would. If he was a brother to one of the students here he could not be that bad, could he? She was trying to take Varian's and her Counselor's advice and learn to trust... Had to start somewhere, wasn't that the saying?

Before the girl could answer, however, something small and pinkish rushed down the stairs and glued itself around Terence's waist. Though Liz had never been entirely tall, she was still almost a feet taller than Daatu.
The young Seer noticed her brother was talking to someone else and she peeked around her brother's waist. "Dark, clinical places," she said softly. "Needles, knives, test tubes. ... That's why you like to wear those coats they were in labs, right?"

"I uhm... S-Sure." She replied quietly. "I-I could use another opinion on what I am picking out. I tend to not match sometimes. Varian never says anything about it but i want to surprise him with something nice..." There went that blush again. She was awfully attached to him. The way she spoke of him was less sisterly and more like that of a lover of sorts.

"We will help you," she smiled. "Terence always bought my clothes until I went to school here, so... I, I think he is better at that sort things than I am... But we had a clothes project last semester! It was really fun." Liz smiled at the memory. "And I made special clothes for Katelyn for the party we had at the end of the semester."
The girl tilted her head slightly. "Varian... your brother... he's your special person, isn't he?"
OOC: Probably a description Daatu (and you?) are not familiar with, but... Liz used actually special person to describe the relationship between Haruka and Michiru. XD And now everyone in love or who likes someone else has a special person.

"S-Special Person... Hmmmm." She said softly, considering what Liz may have meant by that gentle question. She fiddled with her clothing under her lab coat. She still had not changed out of the dreaded uniform but she did not mind it so much. She just wore tights under the skirt and to cover that, she wore the lab coat. Her nearly knee length hair was undone today seeing as she could not battle with the length of it this morning before lessons began. Her wideset emerald eyes stared back at Liz inquisitively.
"Y-yes, he's my Special Person. He is... wonderful and sweet and..." Daatu flushed crimson as her brain filled with the last time they had spent any time together. Varian had taken her out on something called a date... She'd dressed well and he'd taken her to a fancy restaurant. What came after was what had made the girl blush hard.

But Terence saw that the conversation made Daatu feel uncomfortable - why else would she blush? - and decided to help her a bit. "Hey... what about that shop over there?" he asked in an attempt to distract the two girls of this conversation about 'special persons'. "That looks like a nice shop, don't it? Why don't we go check it out? I think you could use some new clothes as well, Liz."
