Considering he was sitting about 10 seats away from me on stage last night (in Alexandra's chair... he was just watching), I'm pretty confident in saying they're true. He's going to cover Melchior for about two months until the tour starts, then he becomes tour Melchior and Hunter Parish comes in to be B'way Melchior.

Oh, and speaking of "pretty"... he REALLY REALLY IS.

MEEP! I'm going to NYC in June I want to see Spring Awakenings but I'm conflicted because the National Tour is going to kick off here in San Diego in August.

But this news totally excites me because if he is Melchior in June and then in the touring production. GAH!

His voice is absolutely amazing.

This news makes me so happy :D

Making icons of pretty boys is definately a productive evening in my book!

I read about Bare a while back. I *need* to see the show! Have you seen it? How was it?

I've only seen it in a wee little YouTube box, but they're doing a community theatre production here in NJ in a couple months that I'm hoping to go see.

There was an LA production, and then there was a brief NYC workshop, and then it kind of... went away. Last year the creators put together a studio cast, and recorded the whole libretto into a studio album, which is what I'm currently addicted to.

The music is fantastic, and the studio album cast is amazing.

Well, sadly "bare" had its brief run about four years ago, so it's not so much on Broadway now (or ever), but the music is fantastic. :)
