They have a beautiful friendship, and it's one that so many people can learn from.

Over the years, I've become so disheartened by so many of the "religious right" (in my personal life and in public forums) that I've lumped all organized religion together in a way that I'm not really proud of, because it makes me no more guilty than many of them are in their close-mindedness.

But Kris is the first public figure I've come across that simply walked the walk, and did so in such a manner that I could see the positivity in Christianity as opposed to all the negativity that has driven me far away from it. His friendship with Adam - expressed verbally and, more importantly, physically - should have as much attention drawn to it as possible, to show the best of what we can all be if people just open up their minds, listen and treat people with respect.
