DCook Flashback: Top 12
Ah, these flashbacks are so nice to do since S8 isn't quite holding my attention.
The days when there were only 3 idiots judges. I miss those days.
LOCKTOPUS HAIR! I know I'm probably the only one who thinks so but I love the vampire jacket; I think it's hot. Bb's face looks skinnier here, weird. And he looks really young here too. THE BAND FOOOTAGE IS SUCH A TEASER; IT MAKES ME WONDER WHAT HE WAS SINGING. DAMN YOU AI. I rewinded a few times and I'm pretty sure the headbanging guitarist on Dave's left is Neal. That's my guess judging from the blonde hair, heh.
Sigh, I can listen to Dave talk for hours. I just like the sound of his speaking voice.
YEAH, LEAVE IT ON THE STAGE, BB!!1!!!

I srsly like his outfit. And dude OMG, at like 1:54, I swear he looks like Chace Crawford. Right, RIGHT? It's the Locktopus hair. But damn, the outfit is really working for him.
I'm not a particular fan of this performance cos the vocals are a bit all over the place, though Randy is right when he says it gets better at the chorus. While I don't like the mp3 of the performance, the studio version is good. Way waaay better.
I don't know why I find the dragging the mic stand hot. *shrug* I'm weird. And hey, he gets the pimped-put light show! With a dramatic ending, no less.
My favourite part of this whole thing is how full of of utter joy and glee he is after the performance. He's like high on himself, hahahahahaaaa. SO ADORABLE! *squishes Dave*

WTF I TOTALLY AGREE WITH RANDY. AND PAULA, SHE ALSO SPEAKS THE TRUTH. O__O (The Simon/Donkey banter cracks me up, lol.) I think Simon was still high from Hello, cos I don't think this particular performance was "brilliant". And hey, more prophetic comments! Hmmmm. I think Dave's talent did win it for him, in the sense that he gained fans along the way and built on his popularity (compared to Archie who seemed to stagnate and did not draw new fans to him through the course of the show).
Well, d'oh Ryan, Hello was certainly a big moment for Cook. Way to state the obvious. HAHAHAHA Dave is so cute with his blowing a kiss and the look on his face is like "Wow, I can't believe I'm here!". <33333
