Hair looks pretty good. Outfit feels like one layer too many. AC guitar is the HOTTNESSS, y'alls. Dave is learning to work the camera, hahahah!
I like the vocals. The studio version of this is really solid; I like listening to it. Vocoder felt extraneous to me. I like the swagger though. HAI BELLY!
His joyous/self-satisfied reaction after the performance just cracks me up. It's nice to see him loving the experience.
Judges' commentary:
Yes, Randy, S7 did turn out to be like an extended David Cook concert. ZOMG PAULA SPEAKS THE TRUTH, AGAIN. Mannnnn. Hahahah Geico commercial! Well, okay, Simon also speaks the truth though. It was a bit of an indulgent performance. "Not as good as you thought it was" makes me snigger (Sorry Dave!). It's fine, Simon, he'll be back to surprise you next week.
RYAN + DAVE = WIN! Hahahahaaaaa, Dave's dramatic "fall" is HILARIOUS. It always make me laugh. And dang Ryan, don't hurt the Les Paul. LOL, everyone pressuring Ryan to use the vocoder. Cookie laugh! What a lovely way to end the clip. :D :D :D
