I know the feeling. :(
I was so excited about it last year, and now I just get the worst kind of sinking feeling every time college is brought up. I keep just trying to push it out of my mind, which, all things considered, is probably not the best strategy, but oh well.

However, you are wonderful and brilliant and can do much better than the University of St. Crap. Promise.

Well, I've heard St. Crap's has a great campus. But if you say so, I'll set my sights a little higher.

nonsense--- the University of Saint Crap is highly prestigious.

Prestigious? Its campus is hardly awe-inspiring, and the last time a faculty member was awarded the Nobel Prize was 2005.
