A good band practice! SUCCESS! I love Mr. Martin now. Okay, so Mr. Martin (aka Freddy Martin) came to rehearse us today. He's the father of Chris Martin (and another son, too, but I forgot his name), and he's first chair of the Atlanta/Chicago Symphony (basically God's gift to the trumpet). So, he was amazing. He's such a nice guy and his methods

Mike Martin is a sophomore at Northwestern and is already the principal trumpet there. Actually, from what I've heard, Mike > Chris. Crazy.
