So, last night after my IKEA excursion it was around 8:00 and we still hadn't eaten yet. We drive around and try to go a few places in the downtown area. I went to IKEA today and got some really cool stuff for my dorm. Okay...it's probably not that cool. It's about as cool as a lamp, comforter, trashcan, mousepad, and shoe rack can be. But I like it! And that's all that matters. The Swedish really know their stuff...

So, the college retreat was awesome, except for me feeling gross for most of the time. Thank God for NyQuil and Tylenol Cold. I love my sunday school class. We had a blast. Wow, I really wish that I had a video camera for my trip to Puerto Rico! It was absolutely amazing! I loved it. It was beautiful there and the people were so incredibly friendly. I'm convinced that there isn't a single loner in all of Puerto Rico. Every where we looked there were people talking with their neighbors. It made you really think about ( Read more... )

Someone dropped out of the Puerto Rico mission trip yesterday and so now I'm taking their spot. We leave for Aguadilla tomorrow! Excitement! OH, and last night was good. Golden Buddah and a movie. Fantastic. I have to pack frantically! Have a great week!

Last night, Joe and I attempted to watch the original Batman movie. It was hilarious and ridiculous. At one point near the beginning of the movie, Batman and Robin are in the batcopter over the ocean and Batman goes down on this ladder. I love how fireworks bring out the kid in everyone. We went to the Norcross fireworks tonight and it's always odd how there's all this crazy activity right before the fireworks start, and then when they start shooting them off everyone stops and stares. I was gaping up at the sky like a little kid. It was great. Just a few thoughts. Goodnight!
