So Chris is really sick of listening to me bitch. I don't blame him I'm in a really bent out of shape mood concerning my job right now. He hangs out with me the most so he hears me repeat several complaints all the time

Yo! I know we aren't really in each other's lives, so my opinion may not matter too much, but after reading that (especially the last paragraph), I'd say screw him. Not in the good way, of course. I mean, that doesn't sound like friendship behavior to me. It seriously doesn't. And seven years of dealing with someone like that?? I really hope you let him have it, and in the end, I hope you feel better off, whatever the outcome is.

WYour opinion matters to me, I know we don't talk often but I've never thought ill of you.
I went in today to talk not to the guy who owns the store but my more immediate supervisor and after telling him everything that's been going on he told me he basically can't have me working there knowing that I have this kind of animosity for my own boss. So if I don't work it out with him by the end of august I'm fired.

While it's partially understandable...I mean, yeah...a hostile work environment's definitely not a healthy one, I think it sucks that the chain of command works against you in a case like that. I hope things work out!
