Call me a grinch...but I'm still not a huge fan of the holiday season. That is...early November right on to late December (things seem to calm abruptly directly after New Years, I like that.) I'm not quite as cynical about it as I was in High School--a combanation of Mary's enthusiasim and Bryan's slickness cured me of most of that my senior year

I don't remember being very enthusiastic about Thanksgiving/Christmas. All those holidays mean to me is illness and too many loud, half Italian family members who don't get along crammed in a small space together. If there wasn't food and presents involved, I'd probably cut myself every year.

Glad to hear you had a not-so-bad time for Thanksgiving. At least when they're all at your house it's easier to escape. Are you still going to Maine at some point for Christmas, or is that cancelled because everyone's going to be in Vermont?
